Vocational Training Center

Skills for Today. Possibilities for Tomorrow.

Dove’s Vocational Training Center helps young people build practical skills, prepare for the workplace and explore pathways toward employment, entrepreneurship or continued education.

When Education Meets the Next Step.

As Dove students grow older, the questions change. The Vocational Training Center was created to help young people prepare for the transition toward adulthood with practical learning and steady support.

  • How do I prepare for work?
  • What skills can I build?
  • Could I continue my education?
  • Could I create something of my own?

The Center connects the education and relationships young people already know at Dove with preparation for what may come next.

Build Skills. Explore Possibilities.

Four connected program areas create room to learn, practice and prepare. Job Readiness supports the technical pathways as a shared foundation.

  2. Build employability and workplace habits
  3. Learn through coaching and professional exposure

Different Skills. Different Futures.

Training can open more than one possible pathway. Dove helps young people explore what fits their interests, preparation and next steps.

  3. Continued Education

Different paths are already taking shape.

Across Dove’s wider program history, former participants have moved into a range of work, study and business paths. These examples describe individual journeys, not guaranteed outcomes.

  • Nursing and engineering studies
  • Professional baseball
  • Small-business ownership

Jodelka · Dove participant

From Dove to the Workplace

Jodelka and Elian participated in Dove programming, developed their English, graduated from high school and later found employment at Amber Cove. Their story reflects the wider Dove pathway from learning and relationships toward adult opportunity.

A personal journey, not a promise of a specific outcome for every student.

A new chapter

Building the Next Step in the Dove Journey.

Dove began by supporting children through education and community. As students became teenagers, the vision expanded to include vocational development and Job Readiness. The Vocational Training Center launched as a major next step in 2022.
